Animal Crossing x Radical DIY
ANIMAL CROSSING x RADICAL DIY
(5pg self published zine) Animal Crossing Radical DIY is a thematic, illustrated resource guide on autonomous DIY ethic, covering the values and intentions of creating alternate systems of operation to subvert existing institutions of capitalism and commodification.
Contents include tools of the trade such as interdependence and cooperation, examples of DIY practices like open source software and punk zines, and a review of some limitations of DIY culture.
It's really fun and rewarding to build things in Animal Crossing and I hope this zine can be a fun and engaging way to apply these approaches to politics and practice!
